Vein clinics in New York: where to find treatment across the state

New York moves fast. Between the commute, the job, and everything else competing for your time, dealing with leg symptoms often falls to the bottom of the list. Heavy legs after a long shift. Spider veins that appeared gradually over the years. Varicose veins that ache by evening.

The reality is that most vein problems do not improve on their own. Chronic venous insufficiency, the underlying condition behind most spider and varicose veins, is progressive. Today’s tired legs may become tomorrow’s skin changes if left unaddressed. The good news: treatment has come a long way. Modern procedures are minimally invasive, take 30 minutes or less, and allow you to walk out the same day.

Vein Treatment Clinic has locations throughout New York, from Manhattan to Long Island. Each clinic offers the same standard of care: board-certified vein specialists, in-office ultrasound, and procedures designed around your schedule.

Manhattan clinic locations

Financial District

Financial District Vein Clinic

Near Wall Street. Convenient for those working in Lower Manhattan. Accessible via multiple subway lines.

The Financial District location serves downtown Manhattan, including the surrounding neighborhoods of Tribeca, Battery Park, and the Seaport. For people who work long hours at desks or spend their days on their feet in retail or hospitality, leg symptoms are common. An evaluation here may help determine whether vein dysfunction is the cause.

Midtown Manhattan

Midtown Vein Clinic

Central Manhattan location. Easy access from Grand Central and Penn Station.

Midtown serves the heart of Manhattan. If you commute through Grand Central or work in the office buildings between 34th and 59th Street, this location puts treatment within reach of your daily routine. Lunch-hour consultations are possible for some patients.

Upper East Side

Upper East Side Vein Clinic

Serving the UES and surrounding neighborhoods.

The Upper East Side clinic is accessible via the Q, 4, 5, and 6 trains. It serves residents of Yorkville, Lenox Hill, Carnegie Hill, and nearby areas. For those who prefer to keep medical appointments close to home rather than trekking to Midtown, this location offers the full range of vein services.

Brooklyn clinic locations

Downtown Brooklyn

Downtown Brooklyn Vein Clinic

Near Borough Hall. Multiple subway connections.

Downtown Brooklyn sits at a transit hub, making it accessible from most parts of Brooklyn and beyond. The clinic serves DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Fort Greene, and Clinton Hill. If you have been putting off vein treatment because getting into Manhattan felt like too much, this location removes that barrier.

Brighton Beach

Brighton Beach Vein Clinic

Serving Southern Brooklyn, including Coney Island and Sheepshead Bay.

The Brighton Beach location serves the southern Brooklyn communities, including Coney Island, Sheepshead Bay, Manhattan Beach, and Gravesend. Russian-speaking staff are available. For residents who rarely leave the neighborhood for medical care, having a vein clinic nearby makes evaluation more accessible.

Queens clinic locations

Forest Hills

Forest Hills Vein Clinic

Central Queens. Accessible via E, F, M, R trains.

Forest Hills serves central Queens, including Rego Park, Kew Gardens, and Briarwood. The neighborhood is known for its residential character and suburban feel, despite being in the city. Parking is easier here than in Manhattan, and the clinic offers the same procedures available at all locations.

Astoria

Astoria Vein Clinic

Northwestern Queens. N, W train access.

Astoria serves the northwest corner of Queens, including Long Island City, Sunnyside, and Woodside. The neighborhood has grown rapidly, and so has the need for accessible healthcare. If your legs have been bothering you and Manhattan feels like a trek, Astoria brings treatment closer.

Long Island clinic locations

West Islip

West Islip Vein Clinic

Suffolk County, South Shore. Easy access from Sunrise Highway.

West Islip serves the South Shore of Long Island, including Babylon, Bay Shore, Lindenhurst, and Islip. For Long Islanders who have been avoiding the drive into the city for vein treatment, this location eliminates that excuse. Free parking, same-day evaluations when available.

Jericho

Jericho Vein Clinic

Nassau County. Near the LIE.

The Jericho clinic serves Nassau County and the surrounding communities, including Syosset, Woodbury, Hicksville, and Plainview. Located near the Long Island Expressway, it is accessible for those commuting from further east or west on the island.

Port Jefferson

Port Jefferson Vein Clinic

North Shore Suffolk County. LIRR accessible.

Port Jefferson serves the North Shore of Suffolk County, including Stony Brook, Setauket, and Mount Sinai. The area has excellent hospitals and medical facilities, and now vein treatment is available locally without the need to travel west.

Westchester and Bronx locations

Bronx

Bronx Vein Clinic

Serving the Bronx and surrounding areas.

The Bronx location serves the borough and is accessible via subway and bus. For Bronx residents who have been living with leg symptoms, this clinic brings treatment to your borough.

Yonkers

Yonkers Vein Clinic

Southern Westchester. Metro-North accessible.

Yonkers serves lower Westchester County and is accessible via Metro-North from Grand Central. Residents of Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, and the surrounding areas can access treatment without traveling into Manhattan.

Hartsdale

Hartsdale Vein Clinic

Central Westchester. Near White Plains.

Hartsdale serves central Westchester, including White Plains, Scarsdale, and Greenburgh. The location is convenient for those who live or work in Westchester and prefer to avoid the commute into the city for medical appointments.

Staten Island

Staten Island Vein Clinic – 4236 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312

Eltingville area. Free parking on site.

The Staten Island clinic, located in Eltingville near the Eltingville Transit Center, serves all of Staten Island. Dr. Kyle Mele sees patients here. If you have been commuting to Brooklyn or Manhattan for other medical appointments and wondering when vein care would become available locally, it already has.

What happens at a vein clinic visit?

A typical first visit includes three parts: a conversation about your symptoms, a physical examination, and an ultrasound of your leg veins.

The ultrasound is critical. It can show whether the valves in your veins are working correctly or allowing blood to flow backward and pool in your legs. This backflow, called reflux, is the underlying cause of most spider veins and varicose veins. Without the ultrasound, there is no way to know whether you need treatment for the visible veins alone or for the underlying condition causing them.

Treatments available at all New York locations

  • Sclerotherapy: For spider veins. A solution is injected into the veins, causing them to fade over weeks. It takes about 30 minutes or less.
  • Radiofrequency ablation (RFA): For larger varicose veins. Heat energy closes the malfunctioning vein from the inside. About 30 minutes.

All procedures are performed in our NY vein clinics under local anesthesia, making treatment simple, safe, and convenient. You walk in for your procedure and walk out the same day,  no hospital stay, no general anesthesia, and no long recovery period. Our approach focuses on minimally invasive techniques that fit easily into your routine..

Insurance and scheduling

Insurance is verified before your appointment so you know what to expect. When treatment is medically necessary, meaning symptoms and ultrasound findings support the need, most insurance plans cover evaluation and procedures. Purely cosmetic treatment, like spider veins without symptoms, may not be covered.

No referral is required to schedule. Call any location directly or book online.

FAQs

Do I need to go to the closest location?

No. You can schedule at any New York clinic based on what fits your schedule. Some patients choose a location near their workplace rather than their home, simply because it’s more convenient for their schedule. Others prefer the opposite.

Can I get treatment on the first visit?

The most appropriate approach is to evaluate your condition first and discuss a personalized treatment plan.

How long is recovery?

Most patients return to desk work within 24 hours. Walking is encouraged immediately after treatment and strenuous exercise resumes after one week.

What if I have had vein problems for years?

It is not too late. Even longstanding vein issues may be treatable. The evaluation can show the current state of your veins and what might make sense now.
