The Vein Treatment Clinic: Expanding to More Locations Across AmericaΒ

spider and varicose vein treatment center

Varicose veinsΒ and spider veins are fairly common conditions, affecting almost half of all women. While most of us assume that this is a cosmetic problem that comes with age, the truth is, these can be a sign of deeper, complex vein disease that needs to be treated by experts. But how do you decide where to go for treatment? Β You need to look for certain qualities.Β

What qualities should top vein clinics of America in NJ have?Β

  • Expert vein doctors: Ultimately, the success of your vein treatment will depend on your vein doctor’s expertise. Look for a vein doctor who is board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties, and who has had specific training in the field of vein medicine.

  • Competent clinical staff: The vein doctor is supported by a number of staff who play a role in your treatment process. For instance, a skilled technician is needed to perform ultrasonography, which plays a major part in diagnosing the type of vein disease. Nursing staff prepare you for treatment and should make you feel comfortable. The front office should take care of your billing and insurance in a convenient manner.
  • Advanced treatment technology: Modern vein clinics always offer minimally invasive treatment procedures for varicose veins and spider veins. These include radiofrequency ablation, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, and the newest procedure – VenaSeal. Adopting cutting edge procedures will ensure that your treatment is both comfortable and convenient. With these procedures, you will not need longer recovery times and can get back into your routine immediately.
Choosing a vein treatment clinic can be a daunting task. This is easier when you know what you need to look for. Check out these top qualities that most vein clinics of America – even in NJ – must have.
  • Focus on vein treatment alone: Any medical center that focuses exclusively on vein treatment is more likely to expend resources on this, and hire the best doctors available in the field. On the other hand, if a medical center focuses on several branches of medicine, their budgeting and resources will be allocated based on priority – which means that vein treatment may not get first preference.
  • Accept major insurance plans: Vein treatment can be expensive if you have to pay out of pocket. Different insurance plans cover different types of vein treatment. You should be sure to choose a vein clinic that accepts your specific form of insurance.

The Vein Treatment Clinic, NJ is the one clinic that fits all the above criteria, and is present at two locations in Northern New Jersey. Our clinic in CliftonΒ is located on route 46-E, just past a popular ford dealership. Our clinic in ParamusΒ is located off the Garden State parkway, near the Paramus Park Mall. Both locations are easily accessible by car, and have plenty of parking.

Vein Treatment Clinic: specializes in minimally invasive varicose vein treatmentsΒ

At VTC, the vein doctors perform a wide range of minimally invasive vein treatments. These can include the following:

  • Sclerotherapy: The vein physician injects a medicated solution into the defective vein, which causes it to scar it and seal off. This is generally employed for smaller veins such as spider veins.
  • Radiofrequency Ablation: Through a small skin puncture, a flexible radiofrequency catheter is inserted into the vein. Heat delivered through the catheter destroys the vein from within.
  • Endovenous Laser Vein Ablation: Laser vein ablation is extremely similar to radiofrequency ablation, except that a laser fiber is used instead of a radiofrequency catheter. The heat generated from laser fibers is more intense and can cause slight discomfort.
  • Venaseal: This is one of the most recent, cutting edge procedures introduced. Medical grade glue is injected into your vein, which seals it off. This is one of the least invasive procedures.
  • Clarivein:This is essentially a form of sclerotherapy, adapted for larger veins. A catheter with a rotating head is implanted into your vein. This catheter delivers sclerosing solution from within, dispersing it all long the vein, in all directions. This causes the vein to scar, seal off, and eventually disappear.
  • Varithena: This is similar to scleotherapy, and can be used for medium sized veins. Medicated foam is injected into your veins, which helps it scar and seal off.Β
